Day-wise Itinerary of the Tour
Day -1 Delhi
Meet & greet at Delhi IGI airport & transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free. Late evening transfer to Dilli Haat to enjoy various cuisines . Overnight stay at the hotel .
Day -2 Delhi
After breakfast proceed for city tour of Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, then Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk.
In the afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibak in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ), Lakshmi Narayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings & Connaught Place shopping centre. Overnight stay at Hotel .
Day-3 Delhi – Sariska (235 km)
After breakfast drive to Sariska. Sariska Tiger Reserve is a typical dry deciduous forest , dramatically changes with the change in season. The terrain is undulating - plateaus and wide valleys. Besides tiger, herbivores like spotted deer, sambar and bulls are commonly seen and found in a good density at Sariska. On arrival check into your hotel. Evening free to enjoy around the bonfire. Dinner & overnight stay in Sariska.
Day-4 Sariska
Early morning proceed for Jungle Jeep Excursion inside the national park. Breakfast at hotel. Free time until lunch a later proceed for Jungle Jeep Safari. Dinner & overnight stay in Sariska.
Day-5 Sariska – Jaipur (107 km)
After breakfast proceed to Jaipur. On arrival check into your hotel. Rest of the day is free. Evening transfer to enjoy the cultural program and Rajasthani dinner at Chokhi Dhani. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day-6 Jaipur
Today morning after breakfast we proceed to visit Amber Fort - the ancient capital of the state until 1728. Ascend on elephant back up the hill on which the fort is situated. Later proceed for local sight seeing of Jaipur. Time free for shopping. Overnight stay at the hotel .
Day-7 Jaipur – Ranthambhor (145 km)
Free time today morning after breakfast until transfer to Sawai Madhopur to see the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. It is one of the finest places in the world to see wild tigers. Its name comes from the vast fort, a citadel in the middle of the forest. The fort was in existence in the 8th Century and the area around is littered with ruins: lake palaces, ancient step wells, cupolas, guard posts, temples and memorial stones, all bear witness to Ranthambhore's varied and fascinating history. Dinner & overnight stay at the resort .
Day-8 Ranthambhore National Park
Enjoy Jungle Excursion/Jeep Safari. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner in the hotel. Overnight stay in Ranthambhore.
Day-9 Ranthambhore – Bharatpur (160 km)
After breakfast drive on to Bharatpur, one of the finest bird parks in the world. Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (Keoladeo Ghana National Park) is a reserve that offers protection to faunal species as well. Nesting indigenous water-birds as well as migratory water birds and waterside birds. This sanctuary is also inhabited by Sambar, Chital & Nilgai. After lunch, visit the bird sanctuary. Late evening enjoy a short walk in the Jungle. Dinner & overnight stay at the resort .
Day-10 Bharatpur – Agra (56 km)
After breakfast transfer to Agra. Check into the hotel. Late afternoon visit world famous Taj Mahal built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630 in memory of his beloved wife "Queen Mumtaz" to enshire her mortal remains. Also visit Agra Fort built by Akbar reflecting skills of ancient Indian Architects. Overnight in Agra .
Day-11 Agra – Khajuraho (220 km)
After breakfast transfer to Khajuraho, which is known world wide for its temples, erotic architecture and sculpture. In terms of architecture of these temples they form the high peak of the north Indian 'Nagara' style. Upon arrival check into your hotel. Later enjoy brief visit of the Western Group of Temples. Overnight stay at the hotel .
Day-12 Khajuraho – Bhandhavgarh (220 km)
After breakfast proceed for local sight seeing of Eastern Group of Khajuraho temples. After lunch drive to Bandhavgarh National Park. Spread across Vindhya hills in Madhya Pradesh. Bandhavgarh National Park consists of a core area of 105 sq. km and a buffer area of approximately 400 sq km . Bandhavgarh National Park is known for its Royal Bengal Tigers. The density of the Tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest known in India. Dinner & overnight in Bandhavgarh .
Day-13 Bhandavgarh National Park
Visit the National Park on elephant back and see the Tiger and other wild animals in their natural habitats. After lunch, once again, sit on elephant back to see the national park. Dinner & overnight stay in Bandhavagarh.
Day-14 Bhandavgarh National Park
Today after breakfast day is free. Or enjoy Jeep / Elephant Safari to the national park for wildlife view. Dinner & overnight stay at resort.
Day -15 Bandhavagarh - Kanha National Park (250 km )
Morning after breakfast at the resort drive to Kanha National Park. Kanha's sal and bamboo forests, rolling grasslands and meandering streams stretch over 940 sq. km. in dramatic natural splendour. This is original Kipling country of which he wrote so vividly in his Jungle Book. The same abundance of wildlife species exists today in Kanha National Park, which forms the core of the Kanha Tiger Reserve. On arrival check into the resort. Dinner & overnight stay.
Day-16 Kanha National Park
Today after breakfast day is free. Or enjoy Jeep Safari in the National Park. Dinner & overnight stay at resort.
Day-17 Kanha - Jabalpur
(169 km) Overnight Train to Varanasi
After breakfast checkout and transfer to Jabalpur to board overnight train to Varanasi . Overnight in train.
Day-18 Varanasi
In the morning arrive at Varanasi railway station and get transfers to hotel. Time to freshen up. Late afternoon proceed to Sarnath - its about 10km from the holy city of Varanasi, where you can see the Ashoka Pillar, Dhamekh Stupa, Dharamrajika Stupa, Mulgandhkuti Vihara, Chaukhandi, Sarnath Museum and Mahabodhi Society. You can also proceed on an excursion to Kaushambi. Overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day-19 Varanasi
Early morning proceed for a guided spiritual tour along the banks of the river Ganges and also take a boat ride over this sacred river. Here you will witness the Sadhus taking dips in the Ganges with their daily practices of Surya Namaskar (Praying to the Sun while taking dip in the Ganges) and different rituals of Hindu religion performed on the banks of Ganges. After breakfast leave for the city sight seeing tour which includes Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Durga Temple, and Tulsi Manas Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel
Day-20 Varanasi -Kolkata (by Overnight Train)
After breakfast day at leisure. Late afternoon you will be transfered to the railway station to board overnight train to Kolkata. Overnight train journey.
Day-21 Kolkata
In the morning arrive in Kolkata and get transfers to your hotel. Afternoon enjoy sightseeing of Kolkata including the Victoria Memorial, Kali Temple, & Howrah Bridge. Overnight in Kolkata.
Day-22 Kolkata (by Air) - Guwahati - Kaziranga (180 km )
Fly to Guwahati in the morning and transfer to Kaziranga National Park (4 hrs. drive). In the evening enjoy tribal or Bihu dance by log fire under bamboo grove along with dinner. Overnight at the Resort.
Day-23 Kaziranga National Park
Today after breakfast the day is free. Or enjoy Jungle rides (Jeep/Elephant), nature walk. Dinner & overnight stay at resort.
Day-24 Kaziranga National Park
Today after breakfast day is free. Or enjoy Jungle rides (Jeep/Elephant), nature walk . Dinner & overnight stay at resort.
Day-25 Kaziranga (by road /4 hrs drive) Guwahati (by air)- Delhi
After breakfast drive back to Guwahati for flight to Delhi. Arrive Delhi & transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at your discretion. Overnight stay at the hotel .
Day-26 Depart Delhi
Today after breakfast free time until transfer to IGI airport for your respective flight.
