Day-wise Itinerary of the Tour

Day -1 Kochi
Welcome to "God's Own County". Arrive at  Kochi airport / Ernakulam Railway station. Kochi is the Queen of the Arabian Sea with one of the finest natural harbours in the world. Meet our  representative  who will transfer you to the Hotel. In the afternoon proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of Cochin. Visit  The Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St. Francis Church, Chinese fishing net & The Indo-Portughese Museum.  In the evening you can also see the Kathakali dance (ancient dance of Kerala - Optional). Overnight  at Kochi Hotel .

Day-2 Kochi – Munnar (135 km)
After breakfast, drive to Munnar which is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams-Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala, at 1600mts. above sea level, surrounded by sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns & winding lanes. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji, this flower bathes the hills in blue onces every twelve years. On arrival at Munnar check in into the Hotel . Day at leisure for Overnight in Munnar.

Day-3 Munnar
After breakfast proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Munnar 
covering Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai, Eravikulam Wildlife Sanctuary & Tea Plantation. Overnight in Munnar .

Day-4 Munnar – Periyar /Thekkady(120 km)
After breakfast proceed to Thekkady. The very sound of the world Thekkady conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. In the Periyar forests of Thekkady lies one of the finest  wildlife reserves in India.   On arrival at Thekkady check into Hotel. Rest of the day for leisure or take and optional tour of Spice Plantation. You can also enjoy boating in the Periyar lake to view the wildlife at the Periyar Tiger Reserve (optional). Overnight  in Thekkady.

Day-5 Periyar / Thekkady- Kumarakom (139 km)
After breakfast proceed to Kumarakom. Arrive & check in to the Resort. Kumarkom is the land of unique characteristics, panoramic backwater stretches, lush paddy fields and highlands.  In the evening you can take  a sunset cruise (optional). Overnight in Kumarakom.

Day-6 Kumarakom
Today after breakfast, morning is for leisure. In the evening go for a sunset cruise or enjoy the beauty of backwaters by just relaxing near Vembanadu lake. Overnight in  Kumarakom.

Day-7 house Boat
After breakfast transfer to Houseboat in Alleppey. Rest of the day spend at leisure on the House Boat. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwater canals of Alleppey. Lunch, evening tea/Coffee with snacks, dinner and overnight stay on House Boat.

Day-8 House Boat – Kovalam (190 km)
Houseboat arrives at Alleppey finishing point jetty. After breakfast check out from house boat and transfer to Kovalam. Kovalam is a dream with sparkling blue waters, silvery white sands, swaying coconut palms...  Upon arrival stroll through the beach side and enjoy the facilities of the resort.  Overnight in Kovalam.

Day-9 Kovalam – Trivendram – Kovalam or Optional Tour to Kanyakumari
After breakfast proceed for half day sightseeing tour of Trivandrum. It is bounded by the Arabian sea in the west and Tamilnadu in the east,  Visit  The Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Museum, Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple. In the afternoon, relax  on the famous Kovalam Beach. Overnight in Kovalam.

Optional Tour to Kanyakumari
After early morning breakfast proceed for a full day excursion to Kanyakumari (75 kms). En-route, visit Padmanabha Swamy Temple. At Kanyakumari enjoy local sightseeing which includes Kumari Amman Temple, Gandhi Memorial & Swamy Vivekanand Memorial. Overnight in Kovalam.

Day-10 Depart Kovalam
Transfer to Trivandrum airport /railway station
